Usually these electric blue butterflies are best rendered in vivid color, but this photo shows off the wonderful textures and patterns found on the underside of the wing. One moment, you see vivid, shimmering blue. Now – all you see is a fearsome “false eye” and bark-like camouflage. Truly an exquisite creation.
