Going past this point in Zion during the monsoon season requires a decent knowledge of coming weather (and some good strong water gear won’t hurt either.)  Tip:  Neoprene lined hiking boots and other cold water-friendly gear can be rented in town if you do not wish to purchase hundreds of dollars worth of the “good stuff.”
