I was amazed to see how many different types of insects
these birds brought back to the nest. Most of them
were still quite lively and wiggling around.

This particular pair of parents often found quite large
centipedes.

Both parents are waiting to feed their young.

While on vacation somewhere near Glencoe, CA, I had the chance to watch a
growing family of Blue Birds with babies that were just about ready to fly.
